The best Indian food! I looked at the reviews then I chose to go! Definitely it was like I was expecting! 10 out of 10. The service was so good! People really kind! And the ambiance I felt like in some house in India. DEFINITELY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Came back here for dine-in after a long time away. It's a bummer to find that the buffet is gone (after Covid) and not coming back. But the food was still outstanding. An appetizer and a main dish to share was perfect. I highly recommend coming here for Indian in Pleasanton.

I was referred to visit Indian garden in Pleasanton, and I finally did yesterday May 16th, we chose dinner, and I will be visiting very soon, the food is excellent, why, food presentation, delicious food, and prices are good and and excellent customer service, the place was clean, which is a plus for me in any restaurant . Thank you, very cozy and pleasant place to enjoy Indian food. Every one in my family enjoyed it. The grandma, the kids and grandkids all gave it 5 stars. A new place to visit for sure from now on.

I have been looking for a nice NorthIndian Food place where butter Chicken was Not sweet in the EastBay area. Finally Found it great Job Paaji and Mataji running this place. Spick and span small home like setup amazing Food have to try everything one by one but for Now Malai Kofta, Butter Chicken, Garlic Naan, Seekh Kebab Mutton. Only Feedback the seeks can use less Whole Coriander seeds and little more Black Cardamom for the earthy taste is all. Super amazing go try fellas

I did takeout, so I can't attest to the in-person dining experience, but I can say that the restaurant was full when i picked up my food. Every dish was great. We ordered Chicken Tikka Masala, Baingan Bartha, Palak Paneer, plain rice, and Gobi Manchurian. The Gobi Manchurian was a new dish for us. It consists of deep fried cauliflower topped with a sweet and spicy sauce. It was delicious, even though not as crispy as it would have been if eaten at the restaurant. We will definitely return.

Super tiny, family run restaurant with absolutely amazing food! OMG I'm still thinking of how amazing everything was! Absolutely terrific service. We came in with a group of 8 (called in advance) and honestly took up 1/2 the restaurant but they were so gracious and helpful and even talked me through my gluten and nut allergies, even if they thought I was crazy

Hands down - the best authentic North Indian food around! The food is consistently delicious and perfect - I've been coming here for over 8 years now. Small, family owned joint ran by genuinely kind people. Service is spot on. Highly rated doesn't quite capture her much I recommend this restaurant to others. Give them a try - you will not regret it! Enjoy.

Best local Indian food! Especially if you like it spicy. It's a cool little spot and we always leave happy and full.

My favorite place to go for my spicy food cravings. Service is superb, they always check on you.

Great Punjabi and North Indian fare...flavorful and quick service. Live kadhai paneer, kofta and naan

I love this place. I have been going to Indian Garden because they just can't be beat. It's delicious. I like Chicken entrees with the naan.

Naan and garlic naan were good and well done. Out of 8 pieces, 1 went bad but rest were very good. Shahi planner was great. Mix veg kurma and navratnam kurma were also good but they put mushroom in both which I don't like. I never seen mushroom in these dishes so far except here Parking little hassle and so I pick up late afternoon like 2 pm or so. Definitely a repeat customer !!!!!!

We've ordered takeout from India Garden a few times now and it's always been great. It's good food and the staff provide good service. I will say that the portions do seem small for the price, but downtown Pleasanton tends to do that. Our favorite things to order are butter chicken, chicken tikka masala, daal, and paneer. Sometimes the naan seems undercooked but it hasn't been a big issue. Overall this is one of our favorite Indian restaurants in the tri-valley and definitely worth checking out. We usually order takeout but their dining room is very nice too!

A really awesome hole-in-the-wall family owned restaurant! This place is a hidden gem and makes the best Indian food I've ever tasted. For years, this is the only Indian restaurant I go to that I trust for great food. We usually order the lamb vindaloo and butter chicken which taste absolutely amazing. The flavors are so authentic and fragrant. You can always ask them to change the spice levels if you'd like but we always get it how it comes or mild/medium. The garlic naan is also one of the best around and pairs so well with the dishes. Absolutely recommend checking this place out!

Butter chicken and garlic naan both tasted awesome. However, the lamb curry didn't taste that good, just tasted like spice.

Food was delish! Service was fabulous! Truly impressed by our servers tonight (who's names I already forgot- sorry!!) because there was one dish that we didn't particularly enjoy and they were so accommodating about it. They gave us a free dessert because we didn't enjoy that entree or eat much of it. Now the food that WAS amazing- tandoori chicken and malai kofta were my absolute favorites! The naan and paratha were so fresh, just the right thickness and perfect for dipping in the palak paneer and scoping up the cauliflower dish. We also got some mango and salt lassis, and for dessert the kheer (unique, never seen it made like this but loved it!) and of course the gulab jamun. I can't believe we've lived 15 min from this place and just discovered it today! Will return again and again. The service really sealed the deal. Side note- It's just down the street from Main Street so a nice walk after to digest the meal is nice, especially on a warm summer night.

Had a great experience dining at this restaurant. The staff are welcoming and attentive. I really enjoyed their Tandoori Chicken and Fish Tikka. The Tandoori Chicken, marinated in a flavorful mixture of yogurt and spices and then roasted in a traditional tandoor, was purely divine. The chicken was tender and juicy with the perfect hint of smokiness. It was served with a side of mint chutney that balanced the flavors beautifully. The service is consistently efficient and polite, the atmosphere is comfortable and inviting, and the price point is reasonable given the high quality of the dishes.

I feel fortunate to have finally eaten here; just 1 turn off Main in downtown Pleasanton, it is easy to pass this place by due the humble exterior. I have been here five times in three weeks and have to be disciplined to not end up here more often. This place has mastered flavors and dishes you won't find in most Pleasanton restaurants and if you are looking for something on the "seasoned" spectrum of flavor, you need to eat here. So far I have tried the Veggie Korma, Daal Tadka, Cucumber salad, Regular Naan, Garlic Naan, Garlic Jalapeño Naan, Tandoori Chicken, Kharahi Goat, Goat Curry, Bhuna Goat, and Rice Pudding. Every dish is delicious, but I must admit the cucumber salad did not wow me. I would consider washing dishes here for free to be near this kitchen to learn more about there cuisine. The Bhuna Goat is special, probably one of the top dishes in the whole City. There is two dining areas inside I've only seen one, it is functional. The one I have been in is small and your conversation will be heard by everyone in the space. The service is very friendly, communication in English gets the message across but exercise patience if you expect banter. Food comes out quickly and they don't bother except to see that everything is satisfactory. Be careful when the server asks you how spicy, they care that you enjoy the food. If you ask for spicy, you will get it; I like things moderately spicy and I get mild.

Food is good especially mutton n chicken tikka. Small Restraunt which is family owned n run, quite space to enjoy your food. Service is quick too.

I ordered veg pakoras to go. It was very good and available to pick up on time. The restaurant is a small one and parking lots s limited. The person at the front desk was soft spoken and friendly. It's worth a try for a dine-in experience.

We visited the restaurant on a Saturday evening with our two toddlers, and had the best Indian meal we've eaten in a long time! The food was fresh and delicious, with big portions. The venue was clean and the staff friendly. We will definitely visit again!

Really excellent Indian food in downtown Pleasanton! Came and had all my staples and everything tasted excellent! I have to say the best thing here is the Keema naan. Most of the time they are greasy and falling apart but this one was perfectly crispy and delicious! Best I’ve ever had by far!!!

It was great, the guy was super friendly. They have very active customer service. He came to my table probably 11 times over the 40ish minutes we ate. The Goat briyani was so good. A must try, although, the atmosphere could have been a little better. From the outside it's super cute, but when you go in it's a bit lack luster. They had Indian rap which was definitely intresting but the portions were great!

Probably the best Indian food in the valley-that I've had so far. Can't comment on the restaurant itself as I had delivery. Chicken korma, which is my go to, was delicious. The rice was a generous serving, and it was plump, moist, and fresh, which isn't always a thing, especially when you order delivery.

I came here for the lunch buffet, and while originally hesitant because there was only one other group here, I'm so glad we came to this place. For starters, it was $13 for an all you can eat buffet, including Naan. They have plenty of vegetarian options, as well as chicken, lamb, and fish, so you can get whatever you want. Not only that, but the food is actually really good! Fair warning, most of it is marginally spicy, so if you have a low tolerance you should ask ahead (or stick to the butter chicken and tandoori vegetables). Otherwise, a hidden gem!

Super nice staff and best Indian food I’ve ever had. Highly recommend the deep friend cauliflower.

More expensive than most Indian food that I have been too in the East Bay. But the flavor for all the plates that we did try were delicious. We went with the basics: Lamb Curry, Paneer tikka masala and butter chicken. The garlic naan was $4 but it was thinner and the bread quality was very refined.
